Re: A ? Password issue
The easiest part would be to update your email. And the easiest way to do that would be to just send me a Private Message. I can update your email on the admin side of things so your account won't get locked, etc. Just let me know.

Re: What went wrong today? What went right?
Hahaha! I can definitely see the power company execs thinking, "Get their power on... NOW!" Thankfully, we had our deep freezer pretty well stocked, so everything stayed frozen solid. The really funny part was when our family called a couple of days afterward and we told them about everything....

Re: What went wrong today? What went right?
Great post! Asking what went right is something we often overlook and we end up focusing solely on what went wrong. Last week, this would have been my version... WHAT WENT WRONG? - Day 3 without power (over 48 hours) and freezing/sub-freezing temperatures WHAT WENT RIGHT? - We are blessed with good ...

Re: Any advice to make baby calm?
We used the strategies from "Happiest Baby on the Block with GREAT success with our daughter. Specifically, the "Fourth Trimester" info and "The 5 S's" were super helpful and always had people telling us how calm she was... even though we knew better. :) Even now, almost 10 years later, if my daught...

Re: How is everyone doing?
We'll be praying for you jigglypuff! There's no doubt this is going to be rough for a bit, so keep trying to find those silver linings, like it being simpler times for a while.
If there's anything we can do virtually -- even if it's just to keep praying -- let us know!

Re: How is everyone doing?
Hi, all! Overall, we're doing pretty good. My wife and I moved our offices from work into our dining room last week and have been working from home ever since. I work in higher education and our department works hand-in-hand with the group that does online learning, so we've been co-opted to help no...

Re: Situation
Has she tried any online dating websites? My wife and I met via eHarmony way back in 2004. She's an introvert and I'm an extrovert, but with us both being a bit socially awkward, doing the online thing worked out really well. There can be a lot of "misses" going that route, but it only takes one "hi...

Re: Comments
Hi, Kaos! The website was specifically designed to not have comments for homepage stories. This allows people a way to simply vent without anybody else telling them they're right or wrong or anything in-between. That's also why these forums exist: for people who want advice or care to have comments ...

Re: Our Forum
Hi, archenemy! I've debated this many times over the history of the site and I always come back to leaving the forums public. The primary reason I leave the forums public is because many visitors find the discussions helpful, but don't want to register for an account... for many reasons. Unless ther...

Right now, there's not, but I have considered a more Buzzfeed-like and Facebook-like range of emotions. Still thinking about it...
