Hi,
I hear you about holiday weight. I'm 47 and I want to lose about 15lbs this year. I bet it will take a year

I have only lost 5 lbs since becoming vegan a year ago. I don't let it get me down though. Eventually I will lose the rest. I also live out in the country . It takes an hour just to get to a regular grocery store. Regarding breakfast, one of my favorites and super easy is toast with peanut butter or almond butter and sliced bananas. If you get sprouted bread ( available at Von's/ Kroger or Trader Joes) each slice has 5 grams of protein plus if you put the peanut or almond butter on it,that is another 7 grams of protein. 12 grams just in that little nutritious breakfast
Someone asked me the protein question last week ha! It was a contractor that was working on our house. I can be a little sarcastic depending on who I am talking to, and I responded " I get my protein from the same place your protein gets their protein " he had to think about it for a second haha!
