Dh told the nurse sister we are moving away to different state 3 hours away

He gave his notice at work today.

Then, he called his nurse sister who kept sending him texts demanding when he was coming over to work on the list of things she wants done in her home by him.

He said that he would not be able to help her with her home to do list because we are moving away.

She said the normal sounding, "I understand and want you to be happy."

Then, reality hit her and she tried to guilt trip him, saying ...... blah blah blah blah blah....
and more blah blah blah. more guilt / more playing victim.... How could he? It is a bad idea. He needs to reconsider. She will be "alone" when he leaves.

He said, "Don't you want me to be happy? I don't want to live in this area anymore."

Then, more guilt, more self pity and whining....

He had the phone on speaker and I was listening.

It sounded like she was a wife who had been told her husband was divorcing and was leaving her.

Then, he said that dinner was ready and he had to go.

Then, she quickly text him, "Don't you love me? I love you. Tell me that you love me. I need to know that you love me."

It is very creepy. Doesn't it sound like something someone in a romantic relationship would say to another during a break up?

Seriously, her brother who is a married man has the option to move away from area he doesn't like with his wife.

I am not her competition as she seems to think. I am his priority!

She is an adult woman, 60 something old, who opted to stay single and she seems to have latched on to the wrong man, her brother, instead of dating or even getting a roommate (or both!)

He asked me if he should respond to her text and I said no. Don't feed that behavior. She was texting him as if she was a freshly dumped girlfriend. Nope! He didn't respond to her.
He agreed it felt creepy!
